Welcome to the world of ART at Crawford HS/MS!
These are just some examples of art that we will create our own syles of this year in Art 1 and Art 2, as well as in Art 8. We will stay within a curriculum, with plenty of room for "creativity" in each assignment. However, Art 2 students will be required to do more creative, detailed pieces of art than they did in Art 1.
We are currently beginning assignments using "pointillism" style which will lead to other impressionistic styles of art as well.
Recall the DVD that you watched about Monet and his impressionistic style which dramatically changed the art of his day.
You will be learning about that type of art and doing assignments using it. See above examples of impressionism.
