2. Get new log sheets for reading.  Discuss new deadlines for books and new point schedule.

3. Read the first two chapters of Freak the Mighty.

1. Show vs. Tell Assignment Sheet

2. Discuss prefixes, roots, and suffixes.  Why study these?  Discuss.

HOMEWORK:  Revise answers to practice TAKS writing test.  Explain your answers.  Due Thursday.

3. Fragments vs. Sentences---Do more work on these.  Use grammar book and worksheets.
